Harlan Original - The Meaning of the Stamp

If you see the “Harlan Original” logo stamped on the back of an artwork, it means that the artwork was personally created by Tay Harlan. Right now, all artworks are made by Tay Harlan and therefore you can expect to see the stamp on any current purchases. As the company grows and more artists join Harlan House Art Co., you will so more collaborative pieces that are made by various artists but under the Harlan brand name and aesthetic. 

Tay Harlan is the main artist and designer of the brand, but ultimately Tay Harlan Gallery is a fine art company that will consist of a collective of in-house artists that make original one-of-one fine art as a company. Harlan House Art Co. is essentially the design studio that produces the pieces for the Harlan brand. 

By creating fine art as a company, rather than as an individual, we will be able to maintain a high quality of work, while at the same time, lowering prices so that the art market is viable again and more of a consumer brand, rather than an out-of-touch luxury brand. This system benefits the customer and casual art collector first and foremost, and it also recalibrates the art market so that it grounded in reality once again.
